A story in yesterday's Globe and Mail runs down the pertinent facts and events surrounding the arrest and detention of 19 people in Canada, including the unfortunate comments by a Canadian government official:

Still, you have to admit it is pretty strange to be walking and want to take a shortcut through a nuclear facility.

I'll concede that. The more I look at this issue and related stories, the more I think that it is less a government f*ckup than a media f*ckup. Most of the investigation is centering around immigration issues, and even those whih are not have nothing to do with terrorism.

Perhaps media profiling ...
